Better late than never right?

Stephanie had been saying all week long that she wanted to go to the Black Friday sales.  Despite my better judgment, I agreed.  We got up at 4:00 in the morning which I knew all too well was to late to get in line.  Never the less we get dressed, and head out the door to Best Buy (they actually had something we wanted).  When we get there the line was about what I expected.  The line for Best Buy wrapped all the way behind the store plus a good1/8th a mile then snaked back to the front entrance.  The line was easily 3/8 to 1/2 a mile long.

So what do you do when you realize that you don’t want to wait in the line because you really don’t need what ever it is you were going to buy that badly?  Go to Sam’s Club and buy dog food.  That’s right, we went to Sam’s Club at 4:45 in the morning and bought dog food.  We were 10th in line (w00t) and got a nice deal on our dog food.  Wasn’t on sale but we got a nice deal none the less!

We eventually went back to Best Buy, after stopping at different stores, and got our new home theater system.  We decided to get something for ourselves as a couple for our anniversary so we bought a bundled 5 disc DVD player and 5.1 surround sound speaker system with receiver.  It’s a nice system, the price was nice, and it’s a Sony.  (I’m not a Sony fan boy but a name brand is nicer than a knock off any day of the week).  So now we watch TV, movies, and play games all in 5.1 surround sound quality.
